Audio Damage Replicant 3 is a rhythmic slicing and glitch effect for turning incoming audio into repeating fragments, reversed passages, and shifting patterns. It suits producers working in electronic, hip-hop, IDM, and experimental music who want to reshape loops or add rhythmic variation to a track.
The built-in sequencer lets you arrange looping, reversing, and re-slicing in real time. Its Replicator engine supports 3 to 16 steps per measure, with slice lengths ranging from dotted-note values to nontuplets. Combine stutter, delay, bit-crushing, and ring modulation with filtering and panning to move between straightforward repeats and more intricate textures. An envelope control provides crossfades between slices.
For hands-on use, manual and MIDI triggering let you operate the slicing engine without relying on the sequencer. Replicant 3 also introduces a redesigned interface and an XML-based preset manager for sharing presets across supported platforms and formats.
On Windows, Replicant 3 requires Windows 10 or newer and a 64-bit DAW. CLAP, VST3, and AAX formats are available, with VST3 making it a practical option for FL Studio and Ableton Live setups.
