SWAM String Sections is a suite of four virtual instruments—Violins, Violas, Cellos, and Double Basses—built on Audio Modeling’s physical modeling engine rather than traditional sampling. It lets you emulate string ensembles of any size, from a small chamber group to a full symphonic orchestra, and gives real-time control over articulations such as staccato, legato, and expression for smooth transitions between playing styles. You can position each section within a virtual acoustic space for realistic placement and a naturally blended orchestral sound. The plugin runs on Windows and macOS in VST3, AU, AAX, and SAL formats (about 400 MB). It suits hobby producers and composers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want expressive, flexible string parts without the limits of sampled phrases—useful for film-style cues, pop arrangements, and game music where you need to shape dynamics and articulation on the fly.
