Audiolatry Mel-Lofi x64 VST VST3 AU WiN MAC

Mel-Lofi is a free virtual instrument built from Mellotron samples recorded by Taijiguy, offering 23 presets across five instrument categories. The samples have been lightly edited and looped for improved playability while preserving the rough, lo-fi character of the original tape-based instrument. Four extra effect layers are included—vinyl, radio noise, mechanical belt noise, and rain—each with its own on/off switch and volume slider, and each mapped to a corresponding key on the keyboard. The interface provides volume, pan, preset attack and release, room reverb, global tuning across three octaves, an LFO tremolo section, and lowpass/highpass filter cutoff controls. It runs as VST/VST3 on Windows and VST/VST3/AU on macOS, including native support for Apple M1 chips. Mel-Lofi suits lo-fi hip hop, ambient, chillout, pop, EDM, and similar styles. It is aimed at hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton Live, or Logic who want nostalgic, textured keyboard sounds with built-in noise layers for quick atmospheric sketching.
