Augmented STRINGS

Augmented STRINGS by Arturia blends rich sampled string performances with modern synthesis, giving you a hybrid instrument that goes far beyond conventional orchestral libraries. Its dual-layer engine lets you combine two sound sources per layer, mixing authentic solo and ensemble recordings with four types of synthesis for textures ranging from cinematic and immersive to abstract and experimental. Over 60 articulations, multiple mic setups, and built-in effects cover a huge tonal range, while the Morph control lets you seamlessly shift between Layer A and B, transforming your sound with a single knob. Macro controls make dramatic, expressive changes easy in real time, and deeper modulation options are there when you need them. It suits composers, producers, and sound designers working in film, ambient, electronic, or pop styles who want fresh string sounds. Whether you need realistic strings or something entirely new, Augmented STRINGS delivers quickly and intuitively.
