Babylon 1

Babylon 1 by W.A. Production is a software synthesizer that puts its main sound-shaping controls on one page, keeping patch creation focused rather than buried in menus. Its multi-voice oscillators, stereo unison and detuning cover thick basses, bright leads, spacious pads, organs, keys and experimental effects. Start with 257 high-resolution waveforms or browse over 2,300 presets, then refine your sound with filters, a modulation matrix and reorderable effects including distortion, chorus, EQ, delay and reverb. For producers looking beyond standard tuning, Babylon lets you tune individual notes and explore quartertone or microtonal ideas. A scale helper highlights notes on the virtual keyboard, with 23 standard scales and 34 traditional Middle Eastern scales and modes. It suits hobby producers who want quick access to usable sounds, plus room to develop their own patches and explore unfamiliar harmonies.
