Berlin 1980 | BA-1 Expansion Pack

Berlin 1980 is a preset expansion for Baby Audio’s BA-1 virtual analog synthesizer, designed by Francis Preve. It channels the futuristic, minimalist spirit of Germany’s Cold War-era techno pioneers, giving you 65 ready-to-use sounds that range from tight minimal drum hits and punchy plucks to warm pads, deep basses, and cutting leads. Each preset pushes BA-1’s analog-modeled circuits to their limits, delivering that raw, retro-futuristic synth soul that defined early electronic music. Whether you’re producing techno, electro, synthwave, or ambient, this pack works equally well for crafting driving club tracks or atmospheric soundscapes. It suits hobby producers and seasoned electronic musicians alike who want authentic vintage character without deep programming. Just load the expansion into BA-1 and start shaping your own cold-wave-inspired productions.
