BFD Horsepower

BFD Horsepower is a drum expansion for BFD3 that brings an Americana feel to country, blues, folk, alt-country and garage rock productions. Built around a Gretsch USA Custom kit with three toms, Sabian hi-hats and Zildjian cymbals, it blends weathered warmth with a punchy, contemporary edge. Stick and brush performances each come in one natural and two processed versions, giving you six kit options for different arrangements. Paper- and tea-towel-damped snares contrast with open, resonant drums, while ribbon room microphones add warmth and space. Character channels offer saturated vintage textures, custom plate processing and a trash-can mic for rougher, lo-fi tones. It suits songwriters and producers looking for expressive, mix-ready acoustic drums, with detailed sampling for electronic drum performance. A registered copy of BFD3 is required; Horsepower is not a standalone instrument.
