BFD Imperial Drums

BFD Imperial Drums is a BFD3 expansion that brings together over 150 loadable drums, cymbals and hi-hats recorded and produced by Chocolate Audio. Its sound balances warm, natural room ambience with well-isolated close microphones, giving you room to shape anything from focused grooves to more spacious drum arrangements. Many instruments include alternative direct and ambient microphone sets, adding tonal options when building and mixing your kit. Performances use 13 stick and beater types, including hot-rods, webs, rutes and jazz brushes, for a varied range of textures. Session drummer Elio Rivagli handled instrument setup and tuning. For home producers and songwriters who already use BFD3, Imperial Drums offers a broad acoustic drum palette suited to styles that call for powerful, musical percussion and flexible mixing.
