BFD Sleishman Snares

BFD Sleishman Snares expands BFD3 with four distinctive snare drums built around Sleishman’s free-floating design. By suspending the shell clear of lugs and other hardware, and using a patented tuning system that keeps both heads precisely in tune, these drums deliver a distinctive voice with natural sustain and tonal purity. The collection includes a 14-inch maple snare played with sticks and rods, a 10-inch maple piccolo played with sticks, a 13-inch rosegum snare recorded with brushes and sticks, and a 14-inch blue acrylic snare played with sticks. Selected drums also offer extra articulations for added performance variety. For producers programming acoustic drum parts in BFD3, this expansion provides contrasting shell materials, sizes and playing styles to explore, whether a track calls for brush textures, rod performances or stick-driven snare parts.
