BFD Virtually Erskine

BFD Virtually Erskine brings Peter Erskine’s personal drum sound to BFD3 with two sampled DW kits and a selection of his favourite Zildjian cymbals. Recorded in his own studio by John Emrich, this expansion captures Erskine performing every articulation, with almost 15GB of detailed drum recordings. The collection includes three kicks, five toms, two snares, seven cymbals, one hi-hat and a cowbell, plus brush versions of selected instruments alongside stick recordings. Expect controlled, powerful acoustic drums that fit jazz and fusion as comfortably as pop and rock. For hobby producers building arrangements around realistic drum sounds, it offers a focused palette drawn from the equipment and playing of an acclaimed session drummer. It’s a particularly good fit for existing BFD3 users seeking expressive kit choices with both stick and brush textures. BFD3 is required to use this expansion.
