bigcat Instruments – Musyng Kite Standard Drums VST AU x64 x32 WiN OSX

Musyng Kite Standard Drums is a free, compact drum kit plugin built around the General MIDI standard. It delivers a full set of GM drum sounds—kicks, snares, hats, toms, cymbals, and percussion—mapped to the standard note numbers, so it works right out of the box with MIDI files and patterns that follow the GM layout. The plugin is available as a 64-bit and 32-bit VST and AU for Windows and macOS, making it compatible with popular DAWs like FL Studio, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro. At just 14 MB, it is lightweight and easy to install, ideal for hobby producers who need a reliable, no-fuss drum solution for sketching ideas, building beats, or adding basic percussion to a track. Because it follows the General MIDI convention, it is especially handy when importing MIDI drum patterns from other sources or collaborating with others who use GM-compatible software. This is a straightforward instrument for beginners and anyone looking for a simple, free drum kit that covers the essentials without extra complexity.
