bigcat Instruments – VSCO2 Violin Section Win OSX VST AU x64 x32 [ FREE ]

VSCO2 Violin Section is a free sampled violin section instrument for Windows and macOS, available in VST and AU formats (64-bit). The samples were recorded by Versilian Studios / Sam Gossner, giving you a natural orchestral string sound. You can switch between six distinct articulation groups: Arco Vib (vibrato), Arco Vib f (forte), Arco Vib p (piano), Pizzicato, Spiccato, and Tremolo. This makes it a practical tool for hobby producers who need realistic string parts in their arrangements, whether for film-style cues, pop ballads, or game music. It runs in DAWs like FL Studio, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro on both Windows and Mac, though it is not compatible with Windows XP. The download is 86 MB, so it is lightweight and easy to install. Since it is a sampled instrument, it does not generate sound synthetically but relies on recorded performances. It is ideal for those who want to add a violin section to their tracks without spending money on expensive libraries. Note that it is a free plugin, so no cost is involved.
