Blackhole

Eventide Blackhole is a creative reverb plugin built for spaces beyond realistic rooms and halls. Its gentle onset and long, harmonically rich tails give guitars, strings and pads a spacious, floating character, while smaller settings can lend vocals a delicate glow or reshape drums into atmospheric textures. It suits producers exploring ambient layers, cinematic soundscapes and experimental effects, but also works for understated depth behind a lead instrument. The Gravity control inverts the reverb decay for unusual envelopes, and the Kill Switch cuts the input while leaving the reverb audible. Over 50 presets provide starting points, with Mix Lock keeping your wet/dry balance steady as you browse. Ribbon and Hot Switch controls let you change multiple parameters together, making Blackhole useful for evolving washes, dramatic transitions and expressive sound design.
