Blonder Tongue Audio Baton

The Blonder Tongue Audio Baton is a faithful emulation of a rare 1959 all-tube graphic equalizer, brought to your DAW by Antelope Audio. Its seven tube amplifiers are tuned to piano-note frequencies, with high- and low-pass filters running in parallel and separate level controls. Each band offers a wide 28dB range, letting you boost or cut with musical precision. The sound is often compared to a blend of the Altec 9073A ‘Motown’ EQ and a Pultec-style tube gain stage, delivering warm, rich character. Use it to correct frequency response issues like excessive bass or shrill highs, highlight fundamental notes of instruments, and improve clarity on vocals and speech. The Magic Eye peak meter adds visual feedback with a vintage aesthetic. Ideal for producers and engineers seeking authentic tube EQ flavor on individual tracks or full mixes. Available as a native plugin or Synergy Core real-time version.
