Bogren Digital IRDX Core is a speaker dynamics effect for guitarists and producers who record with amp simulations and cabinet impulse responses. It adds movement and a less static feel to a virtual guitar rig, aiming to recreate some of the uneven response and spatial character of a loud, miked speaker cabinet.

IRDX Core does not load impulse responses or replace your cabinet processing. Instead, insert it directly after an IR loader, or after an amp simulator that already includes a speaker cabinet model. This makes it a useful addition for home recording setups where turning up a physical guitar cabinet is impractical, but a more responsive recorded tone is still the goal.

The Windows version is available in VST3 and AAX formats for compatible DAWs, including FL Studio and Ableton Live. It is intended to complement third-party amp and cabinet plugins; Bogren Digital’s own amp simulations already include IRDX technology, so they do not need this additional stage.
