Bogren Digital IRDX Core is a speaker dynamics effect for guitarists and producers who record with amp simulators and cabinet impulse responses. It adds movement and a less uniform response to a direct guitar setup, aiming to capture some of the depth, roughness, and variation associated with a loud, miked guitar cabinet.
Place IRDX Core after your guitar amp simulator or IR loader to bring this behavior into an existing signal chain. Rather than replacing your amp or cabinet processing, it works alongside those tools, making it useful if you already have a preferred guitar tone but want more of the shifting character of a physical speaker.
This Windows version supports 64-bit VST3 and AAX hosts. It suits guitar production in compatible DAWs such as FL Studio and Ableton Live, whether you are sketching riffs at home or building guitar parts for a full arrangement. The Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015–2022 is listed as a prerequisite.
