Boom Chak

Boom Chak is an analogue-style percussion synth for Kontakt (full version required) that puts six editable drum instruments under your fingers. It includes three kick types, three snares, claps, three toms, closed and open hi-hats, and FX, each with dedicated volume, pan, pitch, decay, modulation and noise controls. Shape your kit with low-pass and high-pass filters, then add character using six onboard effects — convolution reverb, Replika delay, chorus, lo-fi, flanger and overdrive — applied per sound or across the whole kit. The Auto Rhythm Editor offers 12 programmable patterns (2×16 steps) that sync to your DAW tempo and can be triggered by key or click. Two models (BC-2 and BC-2000) provide distinct flavours. Ideal for electronic producers crafting techno, house, electro or experimental beats who want flexible, hands-on drum design without leaving their DAW.
