AudioThing Bowed Harp is a sampled autoharp instrument for the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt, combining picked strings with sustained EBow recordings. Blend the two sources to move from crisp, plucked textures to flowing, bow-like pads, or find a balance that adds both definition and atmosphere to a track. It suits producers looking for unusual acoustic colors in ambient music, cinematic arrangements and melodic electronic productions. Each source offers 12 impulse responses—four reverbs, four cabinets and four effects—for reshaping the recordings beyond their natural character. The library includes 14 Kontakt instruments, five round-robin samples and three velocity layers, with 160 samples recorded at 44.1 kHz/24-bit. Supplied in Kontakt and WAV formats, the 467 MB collection brings a distinctive string texture to your production toolkit. This is a software instrument, not a physical autoharp.
