Breaker

Soundiron Breaker is a Kontakt drum instrument built for producers who want gritty breakbeats with the depth and responsiveness of multisampled percussion. Its palette starts with over 80 drum kit and auxiliary percussion elements, recorded close and dry with eight velocity layers per note. Layering, resampling and analog processing turn those recordings into punchy, saturated sounds that bridge warm ’70s funk and hard-edged ’80s electro. Use it for hip-hop grooves, jungle edits, garage rhythms or experimental electronic beats that invite chopping and distortion. Breaker 2.0 adds a Remapper within a four-layer interface, plus atmospheric pads and ambiences derived from the original recordings. Automation-ready controls cover envelopes, filtering, pitch and layering, while 20 custom FX presets offer starting points for further exploration. It suits beatmakers looking for an expressive drum library with plenty of dirt and sound-design potential.
