Brit 84

Brit 84 is a vintage-style preamp and EQ plugin modeled after a classic British console module, but with its own distinct character. It expands on the familiar Brit 73 formula by adding extra frequency bands, a unique High Q mode for sharper tonal shaping, and an additional low-pass filter. Powered by Three Body Technology’s APNN 2.0 neural network, it captures the full analog soul of the original hardware—dynamics, transformer saturation, phase shifts, and airness—with minimal CPU usage. Independent harmonics control lets you add drive and grit without altering the overall tone, while low-frequency saturation adds optional weight and girth. Use it to add warmth and presence to vocals, drums, guitars, or your entire mix. It suits producers and mixers seeking authentic vintage coloration with modern flexibility, whether for subtle enhancement or full-on saturation.
