Bunkervik Reverb is a free spatial reverb plugin that captures the acoustics of a wartime air-raid shelter in Brescia, Italy—a 30-metre vaulted concrete tunnel now used for art and performance. Using a modal synthesis engine, it recreates the tunnel’s sound with a dynamic microphone position, letting you move and rotate the mic in real time to explore the space. You can adjust damping and bass, and use Aura controls to shape high-frequency modes. Two LFOs with a modulation matrix add movement, and 20 presets from Missing Ear provide instant starting points. The result is a unique, walkable reverb that shifts smoothly as you travel down the tunnel—ideal for ambient, experimental, and cinematic productions where you want a sense of place that evolves.
