Caelum Audio Schlap v1.0.7 Patched WiN MacOSX-FLARE

Schlap is a compressor plugin built for producers who want attitude and punch. It draws on classic hardware RMS compressors but updates the approach for modern music production. The program-dependent attack and release are automatic, so you get dynamic, characterful compression without fiddling with timing controls. Because it uses RMS detection, Schlap responds to average loudness rather than instant peaks—meaning fast transients slip through uncompressed, preserving their hit and weight. This also introduces a tiny delay in compression, letting initial attacks stay intact. Four ratio styles cover everything from expansion and gating to standard compression, infinite limiting, and even negative over-compression. An optional external sidechain input with filtering lets you duck against other tracks. Whether you’re shaping drums, bass, or a full mix, Schlap adds aggression and color. It’s aimed at hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want a compressor that makes tracks sound bold and in-your-face. If your mix feels safe, ask yourself: does it Schlap?
