It combines saturation, impulse-response-based tone shaping, sampled noise, wow and flutter modulation, and a tape delay engine in one interface. The saturation section offers six algorithms—Tape, Digital, Rectify, Half-Rectify, Sine, and Smooth—for everything from subtle warmth to creative distortion. The response module uses impulse responses captured from twelve real tape machines, including cassette types, microcassette at 1.2cm/s and 2.4cm/s, and mastering-grade decks, so you can dial in authentic tape color. Noise adds texture with real sampled hiss and mechanical sounds, while the wow and flutter section reproduces speed fluctuations, with wow rate syncable to your DAW tempo. The delay module delivers realistic tape echo inspired by a hardware unit.
