Caracol D#

Caracol D# from Sounds of the Earth is a Kontakt instrument built around a single, beautifully resonant shell sourced from Bocas del Toro, Panama. This medium-sized shell is notably heavy and delivers a stable, centred tone that sits naturally in a mix. Because of its size, you can also play it an octave higher, giving you extra range and flexibility. The library includes 25 audio files and 510 Kontakt samples, with 8 microphone options for shaping the character and space of the sound. It suits producers looking for an organic, percussive texture for ambient, cinematic, or experimental tracks, and works well as a subtle rhythmic layer or a melodic accent. Whether you are scoring a scene or adding depth to an electronic production, this instrument offers a distinctive, natural voice that is easy to integrate into your workflow.
