Cassette Keys.02 for Ableton

Cassette Keys.02 for Ableton by THEPHONOLOOP brings cassette-recorded, 80s-inspired FM keys into your Live sessions. Its two sampled instruments combine FM foundations with other synthesis methods and sampled transients, offering vintage keyboard character alongside more unusual textures. Each instrument has five dynamic layers and recordings made through three different cassette decks, giving you several takes on its tape-colored sound. The collection includes 2,193 samples in uncompressed 24-bit WAV format, with noise recordings from each deck. For quick exploration, 52 Instrument Racks provide 12 basic setups and 40 additional presets, all with mapped macros, plus custom Effect Racks. Designed to complement rather than replace Cassette Keys.01, this Ableton instrument collection suits producers seeking nostalgic keys, characterful melodic parts, or a starting point for experimental sound design.
