Cassette Piano.02 Ableton

Cassette Piano.02 Ableton by THEPHONOLOOP brings the character of an imperfect upright piano into your productions. Recorded in a ballet training room, its samples retain an organic, lived-in feel, then gain extra texture through processing on four different cassette decks. Choose between stereo and mono recordings, with flavors ranging from relatively stable playback to pronounced pitch wobble and noisier tape character. It suits producers looking for vintage piano tones for lo-fi beats, atmospheric arrangements, or intimate melodic parts. A sample-start control lets you soften the initial attack, while an octave-down switch takes the instrument into deeper, more weathered territory. Separate noise control keeps hiss adjustable without excessive buildup across chords. A simple two-band tone EQ helps shape the result, and simulated round robin adds variation to faster passages. This Ableton edition is a characterful option for musicians who prefer texture over pristine piano realism.
