Chandler Limited® Zener-Bender for Console 1

Softube Chandler Limited® Zener-Bender for Console 1 pairs colourful equalization with punchy dynamics in a vintage-inspired channel strip. It brings together the Curve Bender mastering EQ and Zener Limiter, using component modelling to capture the character of Chandler Limited’s hardware. Shape tonal balance with musical EQ moves, then add weight, control and tasteful distortion through the compressor/limiter. The combination suits producers who want more personality from their processing, whether they’re making subtle mix adjustments or pushing for a bolder, more assertive sound. Its heritage traces back to classic Abbey Road console circuits, but the workflow is built around modern mixing and Console 1’s hands-on control. For hobby producers and experienced mixers alike, Zener-Bender offers a cohesive way to bring colour, punch and vintage character to a mix without treating EQ and dynamics as separate creative decisions.
