ChopBeast 2

ChopBeast 2 by W.A. Production is a rhythmic slicing effect that transforms loops, vocals, drums, or full mixes into glitchy, stuttered, and melodically reworked sequences. Building on the original’s knack for happy accidents, this version adds surgical per-slice control: lock slice position and FX while randomizing around them, adjust volume for each chop, and apply pitch randomization to octaves, fifths, thirds, and major or minor intervals. Formant shaping, MIDI one-shot and hold modes, and DAW tempo sync with half/double time options let you create Daft Punk-style per-chop loops or Todd Edwards-inspired swing. Declick, independent slice preview, full sequence preview, and sample-rate matching keep the workflow smooth. Ideal for EDM, French House, and hyper-edited electronic styles, it suits producers who want to turn ordinary samples into intricate, danceable rhythms without losing control.
