Chroma Bells is a Kontakt instrument library featuring 12 tuned hand bells from England, India, China and Tibet, made of steel, brass and bronze. Each bell has its own bright or dark resonant character, making them suitable for melodic writing, percussive accents or sound design. Soundiron captured single rings, sustaining rolls and muted articulations with extensive velocity layers and round robin variations for natural, dynamic playability. Three stereo mic positions—close studio mics, spaced omnis and vintage tin-can mics—can be blended freely. The interface includes an adaptable LFO system, 12 filter types, a customizable arpeggiator with velocity table, key and scale lock, and a modular FX rack with 27 DSP modules across 8 slots, plus convolution reverb with 99 room/hall/chamber/outdoor impulses and 40 custom FX impulses. It suits producers seeking realistic, characterful bell sounds for ambient, cinematic, electronic or acoustic arrangements.
