CineHarpsichord

CineHarpsichord by Cinesamples is a meticulously sampled harpsichord library recorded at the legendary MGM Scoring Stage. It captures the authentic tone of a modern adaptation of a Franco-Flemish 1624 Iohannes Rückers instrument, offering three distinct patches: the main CineHarpsichord mix with full, close, room, and surround perspectives; the Baroque mix for a silky, distant character; and the Vintage mix with tape emulation and analog warmth. The innovative Perspective Mode lets you crossfade between microphone positions via Mod Wheel for instant depth control. With multiple string choirs (1×8′, 2×8′, 2×8’+1×4′, buff stop) and round-robin borrowing, it delivers realistic, expressive performances. Ideal for film scoring, classical compositions, and any genre needing a rich, historical keyboard sound, CineHarpsichord suits composers and producers seeking an authentic harpsichord with modern flexibility.
