CineStrings Runs is a specialized strings library focused on tempo-locked runs, scales, and rips, recorded at the MGM Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios. It captures real string section performances, delivering authentic, expressive runs that are hard to fake with samples. The standout Sync to Downbeat feature automatically aligns the end of each run to the nearest downbeat, even with tempo changes mid-run, making it fast to sketch realistic string passages. A notation view shows exactly which run is playing, covering major, natural minor, harmonic minor, octatonic, whole tone, and chromatic scales, plus trills and tonal/atonal rips. It works with the free Kontakt Player and complements CineStrings CORE and Hollywoodwinds.
