CLA Classic Compressors

The CLA Classic Compressors bundle from Waves brings together four meticulously modeled compressors drawn from Chris Lord-Alge’s personal collection of vintage units. It includes the CLA-2A for smooth, opto-style leveling, the CLA-3A for transparent control, and both the blue and black versions of the CLA-76 for lightning-fast FET compression. Each plugin captures the analog warmth and character of the original hardware, with optional hiss and hum for extra authenticity. These tools excel across genres—from gentle vocal smoothing to aggressive drum bus crushing—and come loaded with many of Chris’s favorite presets. Ideal for hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want mix-ready compression with a legendary sonic signature. Whether you’re tracking guitars, mixing vocals, or adding punch to drums, this bundle delivers the same aggressive, powerful sound that has shaped countless hit records.
