CodeFN42 ToneXdb Explorer v1.31 WiN

CodeFN42 ToneXdb Explorer is a free Windows utility for organizing and editing the local IK Multimedia ToneX database. Rather than processing audio, it helps guitarists and home producers manage collections of tone models, presets, and impulse responses, including their own creations, imported files, and downloads from tone.net.

You can update names, keywords, descriptions, amp and stomp details, cabinet names, and amp/stomp skins. Batch editing lets you change metadata across several tone models or presets together, reducing repetitive work when tidying a large library. Search, filters, grouping, and sorting use the database’s metadata fields to help you locate particular sounds.

For reference or cataloging, selected data can be copied to the clipboard or exported to Excel or HTML. Double-clicking a tone model or preset in the list selects and activates it in the ToneX application.

Version 1.31 adds support for ToneX 1.5. It also renames the model date field to Date Added and the preset date field to Date Created; editing entries no longer changes those dates. This is a standalone database editor, not a DAW audio effect.
