CodeFN42 ToneXdb Explorer v1.34 is a free Windows utility for organizing and editing the local IK Multimedia ToneX database. Rather than processing audio, it helps guitarists and producers manage collections of tone models, presets, and impulse responses, including their own creations, imported files, and downloads from tone.net.

You can revise names, keywords, descriptions, amp and stomp details, cabinet names, and amp or stomp skins. Batch editing lets you update several tone models or presets together, reducing repetitive work when cleaning up a large library. Search, filter, group, and sort tools use the available metadata to help you locate particular sounds without manually browsing every entry.

Double-clicking a tone model or preset in the list selects and activates it in the ToneX application. For documenting your collection, you can copy database information to the clipboard or export it to Excel or HTML.

Version 1.34 fixes an issue that hid tone models with a blank Author field. This is a standalone database editor for Windows ToneX users, not a VST instrument or audio effect.
