Colour Copy

Colour Copy by u-he is a virtual analog delay plugin that brings bucket-brigade character to modern productions. Its five blendable colour settings range from dark, gently evolving echoes to bright, resonant repeats, with saturation and brightness controls to shape their texture. Unlike conventional digital delays, its BBD-style design changes the internal sample rate, producing smooth pitch shifts when you sweep or modulate delay time. Use it for warm synth echoes, animated guitar repeats, or experimental loops that become part of the arrangement. Host-sync timing keeps repeats in step, while dynamic ducking helps them sit behind the original signal. An LFO, MIDI note tracking and a Freeze function invite deeper sound design. With flexible stereo routing and 100 factory presets, Colour Copy suits hobby producers who want characterful delay without sacrificing creative control.
