Sinevibes Corrosion v2 is a Mac distortion plugin that moves from gentle drive to aggressive waveform destruction. Its 15 algorithms cover classic clipping, wavefolding and unusual distortion curves, giving producers plenty of ways to roughen drums, thicken bass or reshape synth parts. The engine combines 4x oversampling with analog-style anti-aliasing filters for a smooth yet forceful character, with up to 24 dB of distortion gain. Adjustable filtering on the oversampled distortion path and a high-pass-filtered dry blend open up more selective ways to add grit. A gain tilt control creates stereo width effects, while the exponential gate handles noise reduction or rhythmic chopping with adjustable threshold, attack and release. Smooth parameter changes, built-in preset management and a scalable interface keep experimentation approachable.
