Dear Reality dearVR PRO 2 is a spatial audio effect for producers and mixers who want to place tracks beyond a conventional stereo field. Its 3D panner lets you set a sound’s horizontal angle, height, and distance, while stereo input support gives you control over the width of stereo sources.

Choose stereo or binaural headphone output, work in first- through third-order Ambisonics using AmbiX or FuMa, or mix for 35 supported loudspeaker layouts, including 7.1.4 and 9.1.6. This makes it useful for headphone-focused music, immersive mixes, and spatial sound design.

The acoustic engine combines early reflections with reverb to create depth around each source. Start with one of 46 virtual environments, then adjust room dimensions, acoustic properties, and the reflection-to-reverb balance. Separate high- and low-pass filters shape the reflections and reverb independently. Reflections respond as you move a source, while adjustable occlusion simulates sound blocked by an object. OSC head-tracking support adds another option for monitoring spatial placement.

Available for Windows in VST3 and AAX formats, dearVR PRO 2 fits compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
