Dials

Dials is a channel strip plugin that recreates the sound of a 1950s German vacuum tube radio broadcast device paired with an American bandpass filter, captured from composer Hainbach’s studio. The preamp section delivers rich, overtone-heavy gain with pleasant compression, while the sweepable high- and lowpass filter offers precise tonal shaping. Use it to add character and weight to vocals, drums, synths, or any instrument. The built-in compressor is ideal for voice-over work, giving narration a larger-than-life quality, and it can make drums sound punchy and aggressive. For experimental producers, Dials invites creative sound design—feed it impulses and it roars like a modular rig. It suits hobby producers and sound designers looking for vintage mojo with modern flexibility, whether sweetening tracks or turning the plugin into an instrument itself.
