Diet Audio

Diet Audio by UnplugRed is a spectral gate plugin that excels at separating transient information from the rest of your audio. Unlike a standard gate, it works in the frequency domain, letting you isolate and process transients independently. This opens up creative routing possibilities: run two instances to distort only the transient hits while leaving the body of the sound untouched, or use the fast release mode to introduce unique artifacts that recall early MP3 compression. It’s ideal for electronic producers looking to add punch and character to drums, percussion, or any source with sharp attacks. The plugin suits hobbyists and sound designers who want a distinctive tool for transient shaping and lo-fi texture. Whether you’re working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic, Diet Audio offers a fresh approach to dynamics and spectral manipulation.
