Digital Revolution

Wave Alchemy Digital Revolution brings the punch and character of 1980s drum machines into a single virtual instrument. Built around 15,588 samples from nine digital and three analogue machines, it lets you combine classic drum voices, shape their tone and build patterns with a dedicated sequencer. Choose Original mode for the hardware’s signature sound, Hi-Fi for samples processed through a high-end mastering chain, or Lo-Fi for real-time resampling through a 12-bit sampler. Pitch, decay and other sound variations offer room to move from clean retro grooves to rough, saturated beats. It’s a practical fit for hobby producers making indie electronic, pop, deep house, bass music or techno. Digital Revolution runs through the free Kontakt 5 Player, with no full Kontakt license required, and includes Ableton Live 9 Drum Racks and an NI Maschine pack.
