Dillon Bastan M4L Devices Free Pack brings together ten free Max for Live devices in a 32 MB download for Windows users. It is intended for hobby producers working in Ableton Live who want a collection of devices to explore within their existing setup, rather than a standalone application or a conventional VST plugin.
The pack includes Cellular Degradation v1.0.1, Fractal Filters v1.0.4, Image2Wavetable, Logistic Mod v1.0.0, Markov Variations v1.0.0, Screaming Janus v1.0.0, Spectral Attractors v1.0.1, Strange Mod v1.0.3, Swarmalators N v1.1.0 and Swarmalators T v1.0.1. The selection spans filtering, modulation and image-to-wavetable tools, giving sound-design-minded producers several different starting points for experimentation.
Ableton Live 11 Suite is required to run this collection. These are Max for Live devices, so the pack is not intended for direct use in FL Studio or Logic. For compatible Ableton users, its main practical benefit is having all ten listed devices gathered into one compact package.
