Diversion

Diversion is a software synthesizer for producers who want to build detailed electronic sounds, from evolving ambient textures to punchy trance leads and gritty dubstep basses. Four oscillators combine adjustable waveforms with FM, ring modulation, waveshaping and filtering, giving you plenty of ways to shape a patch from scratch. A wavetable editor lets you import single-cycle WAV files and edit them in both time and frequency domains, while sample playback and granular synthesis expand the sound palette. Two bus processors add stereo filtering, distortion and lo-fi character, with separate effects chains for layered sounds. LFOs, envelopes and an XY controller bring movement to your patches. With oversampling up to 8x outside the effects section to reduce aliasing, Diversion suits hobby producers and sound designers looking for depth and flexibility.
