Double Clay Flute

The Double Clay Flute brings the rare, earthy voice of an anthropomorphic double ceramic flute into your DAW. Inspired by pre-Hispanic Mesoamerican instruments, this Kontakt library captures the character of a wooden double flute still played in some indigenous communities. With four finger holes on each cylinder, the instrument is easy to play and naturally suited to meditative, organic textures. The library includes 167 audio files and 2,356 Kontakt samples, with eight microphone options for shaping the tone from close and intimate to roomy and spacious. Its breathy, hollow timbre works beautifully in ambient, world, and film-score contexts, and it’s equally at home in sound-therapy-inspired productions. Ideal for hobby producers looking to add a distinctive, handcrafted acoustic element to their tracks without complex articulation management.
