Drum Circle

Wavesfactory Drum Circle is a Kontakt drum instrument built from recordings of 2, 4 and 8 drummers performing together in one studio. Rather than stacking separate kits, it captures the shared timing, room sound and energy of a real ensemble. Its big, lively character suits cinematic percussion, dramatic song sections and productions that need more weight than a single drummer. Four microphone channels—kick, snare, overheads and room—let you shape the balance, adjust stereo width and route signals to your DAW for further mixing. Each channel also offers eight effect slots, with EQ, compression, saturation, modulation and reverb among the options. Six velocity layers and six true round robins provide performance variation, while MIDI remapping, velocity curves and per-articulation envelopes help tailor playback. Ideal for producers seeking an ensemble drum sound, Drum Circle requires the full version of Kontakt 5.7.3 or later; free Kontakt Player runs it in demo mode only.
