E-phonic Invader 2 is an eight-voice polyphonic synthesizer for producers who want hands-on sound design without navigating layers of menus. Its knob-per-function layout keeps controls visible, making it approachable for hobby musicians building their own patches or starting from the included collection of over 200 presets.
The sound engine combines two oscillators and a sub oscillator, with triangle, saw, pulse-width and oscillator-sync options. Stereo unison adds width and density, while an optional low-CPU emulation mode offers a lighter alternative. Clean and raw low-pass filters plus a band-pass mode provide different ways to shape the tone, supported by drive or high-pass processing, stereo noise and ring modulation.
Two LFOs with delay controls and two envelopes handle movement and articulation. For rhythmic parts, Invader 2 includes an arpeggiator and a 16-step sequencer. Its built-in delay covers normal, ping-pong, tape and diffusion modes, so patches can gain space without another effect plugin. Available here as a Windows VST3 synth, it suits compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
