Echorec

Pulsar Audio Echorec brings the character of the Binson Echorec 2 magnetic disk echo into a modern delay plugin. Its modelled tube input stage and magnetic saturation give repeats a textured, vintage tone, ranging from relatively clean echoes to gritty, self-oscillating washes. Three individually modelled hardware units offer different flavours of wear and coloration, making it easy to choose how polished or weathered your delay sounds. Tempo sync and tap tempo help fit echoes to your track, while real-time motor-speed changes create pitch bends and woozy modulation. Stereo drift adds width by subtly detuning the left and right channels. Use it to lend guitars psychedelic movement, give synths a hazy backdrop, or add analogue character to vocal echoes. Echorec suits producers and mixers who want expressive, vintage-style delay with practical timing controls.
