Model Mini is a free VST instrument for Windows that recreates the classic Minimoog analog synthesizer. It is monophonic and monotimbral, with three voltage-controlled oscillators plus white and pink noise. Oscillator 3 can double as an LFO, and frequency modulation is available using oscillator 3 or the noise source. The synthesis is analog subtractive, built around a 24 dB/octave, four-pole lowpass filter with resonance, an ADS envelope generator, and keyboard tracking. A separate ADS envelope controls the attenuator. In the VSTi version, a feedback mode adds external-style signal routing for extra grit.
