Empirical Labs Trak Pak for Console 1

Softube Empirical Labs Trak Pak brings the character of an Empirical Labs signal chain into the Console 1 mixing workflow. Developed with Dave Derr and Empirical Labs, this channel strip expansion models the Lil FrEQ equalizer and de-esser alongside the Mike-E saturator and compressor. The result is a combination of tonal shaping, punchy dynamics and warm, gritty saturation. Mike-E’s compression and distortion are separated into Console 1’s Compressor and Drive sections, giving you distinct control over dynamics and colour. Use it to add weight and attitude to drums, shape vocals with EQ and de-essing, or bring analogue-style warmth to individual tracks. It suits producers who enjoy characterful processing and want an integrated channel strip rather than a collection of separate effects. Requires Softube Console 1.
