Entonal Studio by Node Audio turns your favorite synthesizers into fully microtonal instruments, no complex MIDI routing needed. It works both as a MIDI plugin and as a host for VST2, VST3, and AU instruments, so you can retune any synth in just a few clicks. The radial graph lets you drag notes by color and angle, snap to ratios or EDO degrees, and see intervals between held notes. Input mapping gives you control over how your keyboard or piano roll triggers custom scales, while the tuning lattice reveals harmonic relationships in just intonation. A preset browser includes scales like Just Intonation, 19-tone Equal Temperament, Harry Partch’s 43-tone, and 7-limit Hexany. The scale editor supports cents, ratios, EDO degrees, and math expressions.
