EP-1

KORG’s EP-1 brings the authentic sound of seven classic tine and reed electric pianos to your DAW, powered by the same Multi-Dimensional Synthesis (MDS) engine used in KORG’s flagship workstations. Unlike basic sample playback, MDS captures smooth, continuous tonal changes from soft to hard playing, so every note responds naturally to your touch—no abrupt velocity switches. You also get real-time control over mechanical noises like key release, adding a level of detail that makes performances feel alive. Whether you’re crafting soulful ballads, jazz fusion, or modern pop, EP-1 delivers expressive, soul-stirring electric piano tones that sit beautifully in any mix. It’s ideal for producers and keyboardists who want a realistic, playable instrument that inspires emotion and rewards nuanced playing. The latest voicing makes this the definitive EP-1 experience.
